new Leviathan class creature called the Scavenger Leviathan it is a relative of the shiver Leviathan as it became a scavenger/ambush predator as it became a armored tank with a more croc like jaw in a new biome called the graveyard or whatever it is a biome full of dead corspes which it eats mostly and small fish and a new type of coral called the Scavenger Tounge Coral which produces sound to gather plankton and has openings doing suctions to do thoses sounds that sometimes suck fish in but basically expels them the Scavenger Leviathan just stays in the sand with coral on it with it’s mouth open with it’s tounge as a lure to eat prey by a suction which doesn’t look sus because well it’s normal only the females do this males are half the size as females are around shiver Leviathan size awhile males are half and mostly filter feed they mate by the male latching on the female long enough to fertalize the eggs as if he doesn’t do it correctly then he’s eaten without any sort of mating as when it’s eggs hatch the babies stay inside the womb which the scavenger Leviathan mom puts food in for the babies to eat they don’t have gills as they’d full with sand and suffocate instead they have the skin between shell plates and the coral growing on them as the lungs of it also it’s preyed by collector Leviathans which is why all of their body is covered in armor as a collector Leviathan would be smart enough to flip it to kill it also their calls are identifcal to the scavenger tounge coral around them aka you don’t know which one is the scavenger Leviathan the only way to tell is by using the sonic resonator to make it shake and when it shakes materials that are exclusive to the biome but accessible through other means but are more tedious and it’s a early game threat but it’s materials are only useful for mid to late game and it serves as a way to set up the great jaw
