New sea bottom dwelling leviathan ghost eel like crature

The Inspiration: I’ve been a fan for 9 years, and my biggest fear is swimming in muddy ponds—specifically that disgusting feeling when you step on something alive in the mud, or when a long, slimy fish rubs against your legs in the dark. I wanted to bring this exact horror into Subnautica 2.
The Look: A mix between a Ghost Eel and a Walking Shark. It’s massive in length (around 2 km) but super thin—only about the width of a beer keg. It uses small, creepy fins to crawl and slink directly on the muddy seafloor.
The Horror Mechanic: Because of the mud and its sheer length, you never see the whole thing at once. You’d just be exploring the dark biome, and suddenly this endless, slinky body starts sliding and rubbing right against your vehicle or suit. It feels like navigating a moving labyrinth of flesh hidden in the dirt.
The Attack: Don’t let the thin body fool you; it’s hyper-agile. If you startle it, it can anchor its tail and suddenly lunge out of the mud with lightning speed like a striking viper, before settling right back into the silt.
