Floating Surface Bases

To experience the stars and beautiful sky, only to peer out of a nearby window and look down into the endless abyss beneath. With built in stabilizers which allow for the interior to remain completely still despite the rocking back and forth caused by the waves, a Floating Surface Base provides an option for players that lets them have the beautiful vistas they desire above the deep ocean without annoyingly having to build up from the nearest solid surface resulting in floating cubes. Similar to the Neptune Platform but more closely resembling a life ring around the base [See incredible drawing for clarification], players can attach additional rooms downwards to allow both above and below surface views. Not only would this give players additional ways of building bases in locations they enjoy, this would also give additional usage to the Diving Elevator. Allowing players to quickly pull themselves hundreds of meters below the surface to gather materials, or alternatively visit their second much deeper base far below the waves.
