Brackish and freshwater biom

I was not a fan of the land parts from Below cero, but having some land with brackish water going up river into a large freshwater lake could be cool. On earth there are a lot of diverse and terrifying fish and creatures in brackish and fresh water, and i think this could be cool and add something differnt to this alien world.
