
Pulling from storage is an amazing new feature, but the incentive to organize lockers and name them is completely gone.
Make it so that when building, prioritize pulling from floor lockers and wall lockers. If pulling from a locker that contains ONLY the resource being pulled, there’s a 25% chance the resource is refunded. This would incentivize organizing materials without punishing those who don’t.

Idk, the intrisic joy of a perfectly organised storage system is pretty good incentive to me. And I don’t think I’m alone on that.
I also find that organizing still has a practical purpose, since it means you don’t have to rifle through storage to find things to bring with you.
It’s maybe not something you do all the time, but at least for stuff like consumables and tools it’s reasonably relevant.
But i do agree that some proper upfront mechanic to reward organization would be neat.
I would instead suggest some sort of proper logistics system, like only being able to automatically pull from properly organized and labelled storage, or some sort of delay when pulling from disorganized storage.
If you like organizing, then organize. Some of us would rather not, and it’s wonderful that the game accommodates both playstyles. I don’t think anything needs to change.
