BIOME idea

This is a biome where before you enter in it you will get a warning by the pda, this warning will say that not far, there will be an area where all of your electrical signals won’t function and you will be alone. Right when you enter your veichle activates an emergency mode because all his energy has been drained, if you don’t make it back in time your veichle will be lost there. ALL your electrical stuff in your inventory won’t function. The PDA only works on your inventory while the data will be deactivated. Since you have no data of this area and you can’t scan things because your scanner is off the player will never have the data of the fauna (if there is some) or the flora. Because of this, this biome has to be explored by the player and HE/HER has to collect data by analiysing the area and the behaviors. From this the player will note the information on the PDA. The explanation to this non-signal area will come after with the story or with a secondary dialogue in an alien base. The aliens have developed a special technology that will work in that area and that will be crucial by the end of the game, infact, there you will find an alien base where they were studying the area. (Also your beacons will be deactivated, you will only have the compass). Hope you like this, if you have questions asl me!!
