Enhanced biome recognization / individuality

I would like to see the existing biomes being more recognizable and individual, similar to SN1. Currently many biomes blend into each other and mostly look very similar. What I really liked about SN1 was the cliff side of the safe shallows, right above a cave entrance, where it touched both the grassy plateaus and kelp forest.

It was beautiful to see the, also heavily by colour individualistic, different biomes at once.

Currently most of the pre-collector area feels like two to three biomes with a few sub-biomes each (a geothermal area with the dolerite hills and graveyard and a shallow area, possibly as third area the deep hole where we woke up). If that is intended, this suggestion is not that important.
But having these incredibly diverse areas really gave the WOW-effect during exploration of SN1.

Please try to create the WOW effect of certain places again.
