Host Sharing

What I mean by this is to allow anyone to join a server whenever they want. An extremely underrated feature for survival games like Minecraft or The Forest is the ability to allow anyone you want to join whenever they want.

The reason this should be added is because its mildly unfair as a secondary user to have to wait until the host is online to play, while the host can play whenever they want. Obviously this can be talked out, but I would rather both of use to be able to play the same world whenever we want, similar to Minecraft Realms.

I believe you are asking for a Dedicated Server.

While I can agree it would be nice not having to depend on the “Save Owner” to be available to play, however…

Subnautica being what it is, it is highly detramental to every player who is not available when you are to potentially come back to an abbandoned base, or having a goal in mind to progress the story only to find that other players have already progressed ahead of them.

The games progression is heavily based on the story, and all players playing on the same save should ideally be experiencing everything together.
