Being able to pet every single creature, indiscriminately, in peaceful/creative mode/creatures you raise in alien containment should it return.

I wanted this for the first game. I wanted this for below zero. It is utterly useless as a feature. But being able to pet the creatures through the world would be incredible. I am overcome with adoration for all of them. Even if it’s limited only to the alien containment/aliens raised in captivity if that’s going to be something that comes back from the first 2 games. It is, in fact, utterly inconsequential but so incredibly worth it.

1010% agree’d. you should be able to pet even hostile creatures like the Four-Eyes, that don’t look hostile, that ends the animation with you being reprinted/severely damaged.
I wouldn’t call it a useless feature, either, since it can teach you what creatures to stay away from and which ones are nice lol

I really really really could not agree more and I always thought this shoulda been a thing in the other games, too.

We should be allowed to pet anything smaller than a Marrowbreach. I NEED to pet those Clowncrabs!
