
I don’t just mean the Biomods. I mean the Adaptations as well, like Pressure Tolarance.
The start of the game forces you to take that Adaptation despite you logicly not needing it the moment you escape the tutorial area. So I feel a challenge run where you avoid Adapting would be easily made possable with hard to get work arounds for Adaptation roadblocks and be so so so much fun!! and having a “Human Arrogence” achevment and trophy for doing it would be amazing
Now I’ll explain how to change the game so far to make this possable, you guys are 90% there already tho
-the tutorial should have an optional method to escape with no adaption, maybe have some suits be usable but with that limited range of the oxygen tether, or just have you take dmg, would be funny if you had to annoy Noah till he opened the door, and doing it should force you to get very close to dying
and make having no Pressure Tolarance Adaptation have you take dmg in water while out a tadpole at 400m and lower or some similer depth, give or take a 100m… up to you guys there. (not sure where a tadpole depth mod is yet but that would have to be found at most 430m deep)
-the hot area needs a different work around, it does have cold spots but leaving it at that is incredibly tedious, so you should have a tadpole chilling mod that would be found in ether the hot area or a later area you’d have to visit early, letting you use the tadpole as a safe zone and go from cold plant to cold plant without your tadpole.
-the adaptation for the alian power plant would have to have an odd way to get aroud it, be it the talking tree or Noah, maybe a long to let you use it only using the log’s info… you have options to get creative here, I’d love to see what you go with
and by doing just those three things the game should be possable with no biomods or adaptations so far, it’s just an idea I’m in love with, lemme know what you all think
