Ingots should be better than ores

It’s weird that you need raw titanium ore to construct most of the base while the titanium ingots are mostly unusable - even worse, the raw build material cannot be recovered from ingots.

I suggest to make ingots a substitute for raw materials in most recipes. Now that Subnautica introduced fraction production costs (e.g small window costs 0.25 glass) it fits well into the game logic. whenever crafting, recipes would pull whatever is available automatically but there should be a switch whether they should try using ingots over raw materials or the other way around.

This would also massively help with inventory management in the later game since ingots become like small stacks of the original resource. the new base building encourages to build more and that burns through a lot of resources, thus we collect more and storages becomes a constant annoyance. making ingots usable would greatly help.

Agreed, SubN: BZ had Plastell Ingots that were used for more advanced base construction which felt more balanced and realistic. Hopefully it is only this way during EA.
