Periscopic Clowncrabs = tameable?

We need to be able to befriend these little guys! They are too cute. I want to be greeted by their squeaks every time I come home to my base. They may not be smart enough to be cuddlefish-style pets, but maybe there’s another way to domesticate them that makes more sense.

For example, the more grow beds you place around your base, the more clown crabs spawn in the area and hang out around your plants? Or maybe we just get a new version of Subanutica’s alien containment/a terrarium for them that can be built inside our base?

I don’t know! I’m not in charge! I just want crab friends!

game revolves about literal gentic alterations, would be not out of theme if we could alternate genes/behavior of creatures too, making crab smart enough to be pet-tier intelligence for at least most basic interactions..
and yes, aquariums and alien containments should be in game, shame we dont have neither, I want fish and stuff inside of base again
