A new cyclops we will all love (the beluga mod)

I loved the cyclops from the first game it was my absolute favorite vehicle ever and when I saw below zero come out I was so disappointed that they not only didn’t have the seamoth but they also didn’t have they cyclops and they replaced it with a seabus? What? Recently I’ve seen the concept art for the trident submarine coming and quite frankly I think I speak for most of the community when I saw this but we don’t want a bleak brick shaped submarine the whole community wants the Beluga mod to become an actual submarine. Can you imagine, playing with your 4 buddies, one’s driving this massive beast of a submarine, one’s in charge of scanning, one’s in charge of power, and one’s in charge of defense and countermeasures, the community wants a giant submarine that looks cool, but we also want a submarine that is js genuinely fun to have and feel proud to own. I felt this way about the cyclops because I could decorate the interior, and you can decorate so much of the interior of the beluga submarine that it feels like a home away from home for players. Devs, please consider this a lot of us have been waiting for subnautica 2 and I can’t stand to see it lose popularity by its submarine being a floating brick. Thanks!

I think the unfinished trident being released and possible for people to see has done irreperable damage to discussion of the future of SN2.

If it does end up being a brick I will eat my hat, but do you really think UW would do that? Especially after the reception the seatruck got.
The Trident is in development. It’s being worked on, you’re not supposed to be able to see it yet. I don’t understand why people see a very obviously unfinished vehicle, that’s missing 90% of it’s visuals and most of it’s functionality and think “Yes, this is exactly what will be coming in the full release”

Also, I for one have never even heard of this mod, so saying the whole community wants it is strange. If you wanted to say that you want a bigger submarine, you could have said that, if you wanted to say you wanted a different aesthetic for the trident, you could have said that. But you chose to say “this mod is way better than what you’re making, please copy this mod isntead”

Huh I heard about the mod when I first started playing and it’s very big in the community and please watch a video about what the beluga mod actually is it will change your mind I promise I would not have been this blunt about a submarine addition unless I knew a lot of the fan base would love it
