Why do I need the "Tadpole" cargo chassis?

I finished Early Access and want to point out one thing. I never found a use for the Tadpole Cargo Chassis — I didn’t even bother crafting it. What’s it for? It seems pointless. I always had enough resources. The upgrades I got from Biocapsules made my inventory large enough. So what’s the purpose of the Cargo Chassis? I built a Skate Chassis and used it for the rest of the game — it was more than enough

The amount of storage it has is good for when you’re gathering a LOT of resources. I used it a lot when building a base in the late game zone, both for brining a lot of important things from my first base in the shallows and for gathering large amounts of titanium at once. It also has some extra use in multiplayer. But I do admit, I still used the scout ray a lot more.
